PBAT | Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate, is an aliphatic-aromatic co-polyester that has the properties of conventional polyethylene (PE) but is fully biodegradable under industrial composting conditions. Certain grades of PBAT are also biodegradable under home composting conditions.
PBAT can be used for consumer/lifestyle & packaging products such as single-use plastic packaging, shopping/grocery bags, trash bags etc.
PCL | Polycaprolactone is a synthetic (fossil-based) biodegradable bioplastic, which can be used as a blend component.
